NEW Dial Design, Chelsea Ship's Bell Barometer, Brass on Mahogany Base

Chelsea Clock classic Ship’s Bell Barometer, on Solid Mahogany Traditional Display Base is designed as a companion piece to the Ship’s Bell Clock, features a double bellows holosteric movement that mechanically measures changes in atmospheric pressure to foretell changing weather. 

Readings of “Stormy,” “Rain,” “Change,” “Fair,” or “Very Dry” are handsomely displayed on the piece’s rich, hand-silvered dial.

Chelsea just changed the dial design of all Ship's Bell Barometers September, 2017 to a more classic look which better fits the tradition.

The 4.5" and 6" dial editions of this precision instrument also include a thermometer tube that provides accurate temperature readings.

The Ship’s Bell Barometer features a lacquered solid forged brass case and screw bezel.
Barometer movements are calibrated to sea level and can be adjusted for altitudes up to 5,000 feet above sea level upon request.

The Ship’s Bell Barometer is available in 4 1/2 inch, 6 inch and 8 1/2 inch dial sizes.
